He passes her in the street
and a frown crosses his brow.

Why?

Maybe I'm happy,
Maybe I'm sad.

I feel so alone,
Yet I've been with people all day.
I feel so unloved,
Yet I know I have people who love me.

I can't talk about these feelings.
I can't open up when the door is locked.
And the key is lost.

I want to inspire,
But I just recieve empathy.
I want to die,
But I keep on breathing.

I feel so confused, lost and all alone.
The feelings inside me are too strong for my body.

I don't want someone to understand.
I want someone to give me the answers to why I am like this.
And a solution to fix the massacre inside me...

Try to SmileSometimes when the days are rough
I find being happy more than a bit tough
But knowing that my friends are there
Makes me at least have a bit of care

I laugh less than the average person
And always because of that my problems worsen

Because I felt alone right now. :) Unlike most people, I actually feel a sense of peace and security when I'm alone and often miserable.

There's just something about it that can make me feel safe. The way the darkness wraps around you and--well, that's a poem for another day.

I think this is good practice with poetry/formatting. And I suppose it's good that you find comfort in being alone. However, as I've come to learn the hard way...being alone isn't always what you truly need, no matter what you believe.

I have to agree with Helina on this one.
It's lovery though, don't get me wrong. I've been feeling like that for the past month. But then I realized that no one's ever alone. There's always someone, even if we want the loneliness. Even if you're the last living thing in the universe. Even the phantom is never truly alone.
